Caribou Artist In Residence

The program provides an opportunity for artists to pursue their work in the quiet setting of meadows, forests, mountains and open skies. Wanting artistic freedom, I packed a variety of materials without any agenda. The single intention I did have was to work wtih the elements. 468 Teabags later, jaw dropping storms and brilliant blue sky days were my collaborators in creating “Mother’s Quilt.”

CSArt Project

Presented by Denver Botanic Gardens and Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Community Supported Art Colorado was modeled closely on Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs) programs that link local crop growers with local consumers, the CSArt program connected 10 selected local artists with local art lovers through a buy-local, share-based membership. The artists created 60 pieces of original art in which Shareholders received a total of ten artworks.
